Description: Vintage rare all leather Orvis briefcase satchel bag in brown. Large main zippered compartment with small open interior pockets. Rear open pocket. Dual front turnbuckle closing pockets. Dual leather carrying handles. Includes leather Orvis luggage tag. There is no Orvis strap, but I am including a heavy duty adjustable detachable shoulder strap with brass hardware and a leather shoulder pad that works well with this bag. Main compartment measures 16 by 10 by 4 inches. Very substantial and well made bag comparable in form and function to a Ghurka Satchel no.17 briefcase. Stitching at the top edge of the open rear pocket is loose and missing in the middle. There is a significant blue ink stain in the side and the bottom of the interior of the bag. Initials JMF are embossed in the leather at the top front of the bag. Sold as is. I ship only to the continental United States.
