Description: OT10SE Standard HC87: Shielded Version (lower profile HC87 Covers) Single-Ended Output transformerThis is a new 12VA Single Ended model OT10SE Output transformer for tube guitar circuit applications (82Hz to 10KHz) using power tubes such as 6L6, 6V6, 5881, KT66 or EL84 and will carry 60mADC current. This transformer is built in Mexico to our custom design specs and a lower price. We are using an oversized 7/8 x 1" stack of audio grade 29M6 laminations and bobbin wound construction. It's a 2x1 interleaved winding with two input impedances and three output impedances. This is the standard OT10SE design, except mounted into Bahr's HC-87 upright horizontal end bells for a fully shielded construction. The covers are secured with stainless steel screws and non-magnetic washers to minimize core losses. The finish on the covers is zinc plated (but paintable) and matches the PT275.2 power transformers exactly. Dimension- 2.5"wide x 2.25"high x 2.5" deep Weight-1.8Lb EA net Mounting- 4 hole X-mount at 2.12"W x 1.75" deep. We've tried this one out on 6L6, KT66, 6V6, KT77*and EL34* circuits with good success. It will hang in there up to around 60mADC due to it's fixed gap core structure. *You can readily run this as a 2500 or 3500 Ohm input to 2/4/8 Ohms output if you need to operate at lower impedances.
