Description: Description Otmar Suitner Mozart Così fan tutte 2 SACD Hybrid TOWER RECORDS JAPANProduct introductionPlanning for the 100th anniversary of the birth of Sweetner.A masterpiece featuring former East German star singers such as Casapietra, Schreier and Adam at the time!Mastered only in the analog domain and converted to DSD directly!Home country ETERNA original analog tape latest reprint project. 24th SACD HybridizationOne of the well-established Mozart recordings of Suitner (1922.5.16-2010.1.8) recorded with Staatskapelle Berlin in 1969. This "Cosi fan tutte" was recorded in Italian singing, pioneering at that time. Until then, Italian operas in East Germany were often sung with German translations (including recordings by other labels), but from the late 1960s, singing in the original language gradually increased. This recording uses the original language, and is a valuable sound source for Suitner, who became the only non-German opera in session recordings. Another feature of this recording is the rich expressiveness of the singers. Celestina Casapietra, who played the role of Fiordilisi, was Mrs. Kegel at the time, and since then has been active in overseas performances as the prima donna of the Berlin State Opera. Other singers such as Peter Schreier, Theo Adam and other famous singers are also arranged, showing how much effort ETERNA put in at the time. In addition, in this reprint, the original analog master tapes of the home country are newly used and the latest digitalization is performed, so we have been able to obtain a sound quality that is higher than that of conventional CDs. Voice quality, thickness of the orchestra, and overall spread will be improved, and you will be able to enjoy the finest tones. Overall, it has a calm and original mellow sound quality. In addition, unlike conventional CDs, DISC1 is recorded until the middle of Act 1 and partly straddles DISC2, but this is the timing at which the analog master tape is switched. Therefore, in this reprint, we edited and reproduced it faithfully to the master tape. For this reprint, the master tape was airlifted from the label to the studio of Mr. Christoph Stickel, a mastering engineer living in Vienna, where it was mastered in the analog domain, and then converted to DSD for the SACD layer and digitized. PCM for the CD layer is made into a product by another system. In this project, we achieved mastering in the most ideal way possible. The effect is remarkable, it is possible to reproduce the quality left on the master tape extremely faithfully, and mastering only in the analog domain and direct DSD have brought about a more effective sound quality. Compared to the previous model, the clearer and higher resolution makes it possible to expect further evaluation of the performance. In addition, the Japanese manual includes a photo of the outer box of the original analog master tape used this time.Work information MainConductor: Otmar SuitnerOrchestra: Staatskapelle BerlinSoprano: Celestina CasapietraAlto: Anneliese Burmeister OthersTenor: Peter SchreierComposer: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart Contents Number of components | 2 sheets Track ListingWolfgang Amadeus Mozart:Opera Così fan tutte, K. 588(Italian singing)
