Description: Up for sale is a very nice first edition of Our Animal Friends published in 1911 by M.A. Donohue. This book is comprised of 6 pages with a color lith on each side of an animal. There are also one of these descriptions on both the front and rear cover. Major issue is the cover and the "pony" page where there was damage and some small pieces missing. Otherwise interior liths are all nice shape. Major issues for interior are a small tear that effects a couple of the boarders, some browning and light staining on a couple of the pages. One (the sheep) has a decent amount of markings. Previous owner inscription is only writing in the book. This book is comprised of absolutely gorgeous color liths of animals throughout. I debated taking this apart and selling the lithographs seperately but decided to leave the collection together and at this discounted price someone could certainly resell them at a nice profit. Interior and the rich illustrations are all in remarkably nice condition. This is a tough book to find and even tougher without typical children scrawls and drawings that ruin the interior lithographs. Please email with questions and see my store for other great items.
