The inner liner is useful for keeping the rain out and also retaining a little heat on cooler days. The big win for me is just how natural the jacket fits when off the bike. I hate feeling restricted in my movement when I've got to my destination and I don't want to carry a jacket and helmet about. This jacket wears just like any normal jacket without the bulk and weight of a normal motorcycle jacket, meaning I can go about my business without the jacket getting in the way.
