Description: This Ozark saddle pad was project for a saddle club that was giving it as a prize. It was brought to me to hand carve things like date and what the prize was won for into some tooling leather which I then had to hand sew to the corners of the pad. I have a harness stitcher that only will sew leather and would have been too thick anyway, so I made the holes on my stitcher and then hand sewed it onto the blanket. Between the hand tooling and hand sewing I had quite a bit of time into the project, plus materials. To make a long story short they never came back and picked it up and when I contacted them, the person who ordered the work and brought the pad over to my shop had left the club and they stated they did not need it. I still don't know the whole story on that. It has been sitting in my shop here for 4-5 years, so I removed the tooled leather trophy plates I made, and I am selling it to try and recoup part of the materials and labor costs. Thanks for visiting. I measured it unfolded on my table and the length is 31" and was 31" wide unfolded, so would be around 15" folded as normal.
