Description: This listing is for a vintage UNIQUE 1 of 1 ever made, Brass Sculpture of a Labrador retriever Or Hound Dog. It was Hand Made by a local Pennsylvania PA artist in the Pittsburgh region. He made his model by hand, as well as his mould, and then cast it in brass. It has a sense of movement and purpose to the dogs posture as he searches for fallen prey or perhaps a treat among the grasses. Made with a unique contemporary style, in the 80s-90s, of solid brass with a felted base. It has a nice weight / heft in the hand, and looks stunning while displayed. A great item for collectors of dog related items or of sculptures / figures , display / decor piece, gift, gallery piece, and more! It is in excellent vintage condition with little to no wear and no damage. It has great hues and colors throughout the metal on its surface which add the the atmosphere. It has a bubble on his tail, this is a natural flaw, and does not comprise the statue. It is not signed, and unfortunately I no longer remember the artists name. I believe it was Ron.
