Description: This is a laser cut primarily wood kit to build a highly detailed 1:48 scale (1/4" = 1 foot) model of a small mid 1800's - early 1900’s 2 story wood structure. This is a flexible design that can be modeled as a shop, living space, hotel, etc.The building box portion is a scale 12' wide x 14' deep, making this a condensed, compact structure that can fit into a smaller area on a layout or diorama. The completed overall structure footprint with staircase is approximately 4" width x 6" depth.This small structure comes loaded with many wonderful features, such as a super detailed wrap-around external staircase, fine dentil trim accents, exposed decorative beams, bay window with curved roof, dog-ear shingles, and a complete interior with a removeable roof. Although this kit is designed to be as approachable as possible while still retaining a high level of detail, bear in mind that this is still a craftsman kit and takes time and patience to put together.
