The talented artist (initials M.M.G. on lower right) apparently modified what started out as a paint by number work, refining the composition by eliminating multiple large seagulls featured in the foreground of similar kits. This piece also shows much more artistic color blending, (particularly in the clouds, sky and ocean) instead of the usual color blocking effect paint by number works are known for. The result is a delightfully executed, one of a kind artwork. The rustic blue painted wooden frame perfectly complements the piece's color palette and nautical theme.
