Description: Our client's lovely pair of antique porcelain vases in the Louis XV style feature a light blue glazed finish with gilded decorations and molded frieze of frolicking putti celebrating the Bacchanale, lids with three dimensional putti, and are set within gilt bronze pedestals. Each 14 inches tall and 5 inches across. The blue glazed mark shown appears to be an S surmounted with crown. Maker is unknown. Each in good condition. There is a restoration to the base of one vase, and there may be other repairs. Our client has this pair for sale in their New York gallery.
