They are silverplated on heavy copper by the LAWRENCE B. SMITH CO of Boston, MA. The company was founded in 1887 and was out of business 1958. This hexagon trumpet style vase was popular in the early 1920's. So, they are about 100 years old. The smaller vase is showing its age more. It has more exposed copper on the edges. This gives it a stripped appearance that almost looks intentional. The taller one is in very good condition with only slightest copper showing. See the pictures.
