Description: Midwest is my guess as the sconces are not marked. This set is a rare set with quite a bit of detail on the frame and the slip shade glass. The glass is a tan with brown accents on the face. The glass resembles a shield that hangs over the frame in the front adding to the beauty. Easy to installs and sits firmly And securely in the frame. The frames are a lightweight combination of metal. They have been stripped and repainted to their antique color and oiled to enhance the detail. The glass is in good condition especially considering the age. The only thing I would note is the brown accents on the face of the glass are not identical meaning just the coloring of the brown. Please see the pictures. They measure approximately 11 1/2 tall and 5 1/4 wide. All mounting hardware is included, all electrical has been update with UL approved products. The sockets can easily handle 100 watts, but we recommend a limit of 60 - 65 watts if incandescent bulbs are to be used. This is to protect the slip shades from excessive heat. Greater light output can be obtained by using energy efficient LED or compact fluorescent light bulbs. These types of light bulbs operate at cooler temperatures, and do not emit as much heat as incandescent.
