Description: Pair BRASS Electrified ART DECO or ARTS CRAFTS Candlestick WALL SCONCES w/Shades Here is a very nice looking pair of solid brass sconce lamps. These have the slip in metal shades, not sure if silver colored one is original to brass fixture, the other brass ship in shade is probably original to fixture. The sconce fixtures themselves are all solid brass, the sockets are porcelain. I'd say Art Deco 1930s, 40s period or so, definitely no later. Sconces have a nice patina to them, could be cleaned up better if desired, would absolutely POP if buffed/polished with a wheel and then lacquered. Measures about 6 inches tall, 4 inches across the oval wall plate which is about 5/8 inch thick, they have a center hole for mounting to a wall and include the original brass finial caps.
