Description: Here's a pair of hard to find railroad china fruit or dessert bowls in the Violets and Daisies pattern by Syracuse China. This pattern was used in the dining cars of the Chicago Burlington & Quincy Railroad trains. The date codes indicate manufacture in 1966 and 1971. The bowls measure 1⅛ inches tall and 4⅞ inches in diameter. Together they weigh over ¾ pound before packaging. Both pieces are in excellent condition with no chips, nicks or cracks though they have light to moderate scratching and utensil wear in the bottom. They are marked on the bottom as shown.
