Description: Both vintage needlework pieces are very nice work! Signed and dated by Elsie A. Schmidt from Forest Hills, New York in the year 1938 or earlier. One of the cardboard backings is missing a small piece which shows through to the front - but - can be easily remedied by adding a small piece of cardboard to that area (see that photo).
