Description: This listing is for a Pair of Antique Aubusson Tapestry Huge Pillows measuring about 22 inches by 22 inches by about 5 inches in depth ( or 55x55x13cm) , Backed in quality Green Velvet , probably an early production , with no zippers , and stuffing in an early fabric cover , Stuffed well so they will retain their shape and volume, Just Perfect. Both pillows are in excellent condition with following noted; there are several slits that can be easily mended and are not cut slits but rather weave slits. This could be done by anyone that knows how to use a needle and thread using a neutral thread in 15 minutes. a few drip stains as shown , another area with a salt like stain about 1 1/2 inches square , and then one of the side pillows having a larger soil stain as shown. I think all these are original to the textile when pillows were made . A seamstress opening one of the sides , removing the stuffings and having the tapestry part dry cleaned , and replacing stuffing and closing the open end , is an option . The velvets are in excellent like new condition . These are hand done designer pillows and not manufactured ones. Both pillows are otherwise very clean and crisp. Please see images for colors and details. Very decorative and well made. I will ship these in a 19x21x11 inches box ( which is smaller than pillows ) to reduce shipping costs.
