Description: These are bascially the JBL 2500 in sheeps clothing. I'm a JBL fan and these are really honest sounding small bookshelf monitors. I use them for casual listening, and also as recording monitors for home recording set-up. I like the size reference and range they have. The tweeter is excellent, and bass response is very acceptable for the size. FOr a budget JBL, these are great. Ad a sub if you need the deep lows and you could have a wonderful full sounding 2.1 room set-up, or grab 4 for a 5.1 surround. These have seen some battle but I did some touch up in black paint to cover some of the blems. Corner scrapes, and small dings. I think thet can still present well though. Fully tested and used by me in my home studio.
