Description: A VERY GOOD PAIR OF HIGH QUALITY CAST STERLING SILVER CANDLESTICKS BY THE GOLDSMITHS & SILVERSMITHS CO. The Pair stands 19cm tall. The bases are 9.5cm square. Total weight is 1123 grams. The column Candlesticks are raised on a square spreading base with beaded rim decoration. Decorated capitals with removable beaded edge nozzles. Bow and swag decoration. Enclosed cast silver base. Hallmarked for Sheffield..1931. Makmark is the Goldsmith's and Silversmiths Company. All in very good, clean and crisp condition. There are a few tiny dings, principally to the base rim, but otherwise free from damage or fault. The cast decoration is crisp. The Candlesticks stand straight and true without wobble. The nozzles fit securely and sit level.. My antique silverware can be purchased with complete confidence. I have an excellent eBay profile and accept returns should the items fail to please.
