These have 11 Oz Y35 magnets for extreme power handling. The surface area of the cone on our speaker is significantly larger compared to 6.5" speakers from other brands. Our speaker outputs better low frequencies due to this. For high frequencies we have a 1” PEI dome tweeter with neo magnets. The highs are incredibly crisp and clear. We did many listening tests and our speaker out-performed speakers that are about 4 times the price. One other important note is that the sensitivity rating of these is amazing so even if you are powering these with a regular receiver they will go super loud and sound great! If you are using an external amplifier then you are also in luck because the power handling is 75w RMS per speaker!
