Description: This pretty pair of cruets is in wonderful condition. They were hand blown into molds and the lacy design was hand painted onto the glass with a special flux - a mixture of turpentine and powdered silver. I think these date to around 1900. The stoppers fit well and also have silver accents. All of the glass is faceted and this set looks wonderful, reflecting light from all angles. I found no damage to the glass -- no chips, no cracks or repairs and you can see some small bubbles in the glass, proving their age and that they were hand blown. There is just a bit of wear to the silver, as shown in detail photo.
