Description: This is a single sheet, single sided print April, 1956 brochure or schedule for the Palm Drive-In Theatre that was located at 6060 Ulmerton Road, Clearwater, Florida. The history of the Palm Drive-In is a little confusing. It was conceived as an African-American drive-in but opened in 1953 to White audiences only. It switched to an African-American drive-in at some point before an an uncertain history that included a closure, a reopening in 1958, ownership changes, name changes (Ulmerton Drive-In Theatre, Outdoor Drive-In Theatre), before closing permanently in 1960. Films on this schedule include Walt Disney Pictures' The Living Desert, Ride, Vaquero!, and Desert Legion. The brochure has toning, corner dings / creases / wear/ tears, and a left edge crease / bend with fraying. It measures about 5 3/8 by 7.5 inches.Check the photos and message me with any questions.
