Description: Beautiful Vintage Cup and Saucer with pink and white gardenias. Made by the Paragon China Company of London, England. It is marked on the back with Paragon and By Appointment to HM Queen & H.M. Queen Mary. Produced in late 1930 to 1940s. Cup and saucer features pink and white gardenias awith green leaves on a glossy black background. No chips or cracks. There is a small age spot on the bottom side of cup near the base. And there is a small bubble on the saucer that occurred during the glaze firing. Does not affect integrity of the item. See photos for more details and to confirm condition. The cup is approximately 2 ¼ inches tall to top of rim, approximately 4 inches across the top rim and a just under 5 inches across from the rim to handle. The saucer diameter is approximately 5 ½ inches across.
