Description: I have up for sale a gorgeous antique Porcelain & Parian Bisque Figural Cherub Base Oil Lamp with Etched Glass Shade. I have a couple pics of the bottom mark but I can not identify the maker myself. There is a red ink stamp mark and an impressed / stamped mark . It is stamped G84 on the lower part of the mark and what looks like the letter "R" with crossed swords or something of the sort. The mark is difficult to see unless viewing with the correct lighting and in the right angle . There is No Wick , so you will have to find one that fits this small size burner. Its a P&A burner but not sure what style that its called. I would have to think the maker is either German , France , or English. View the maker marks for yourself and maybe you can identity them. The lamp features two parian bisque cherub type figures and the main lamp and base section in a gorgeous blue porcelain with gold accents. One of the Cherub figures appears to have an old repair on the neck . This is not easily noticed at first glance but only seen when viewing with scrutiny . The last pic shows the neck area. I have a few additional pics which are not in the 12 ebay pics but I can provide if you message me. The burner is an old "THE VICTOR" P&A Plume & Atwood . No wick This is a very small fount and to me means that this is a very old lamp . Small like it was back in the era of whale oil. I do not have the chimney , it is absent. The shade is frosted with acid etched Cupid or Angel type figures . It stands approx 9" tall and has a ruffled top. I can not imagine that its not original to the lamp. It's a tad heavy of a shade but most likely original , if not it looks perfect with the lamp. The lamp stands approx 22-3/4" tall to the apex of the shade. The bottom rim of the shade measures approx 2-3/4". I am selling the lamp AS IS due to the old repair on the cherubs neck. I will package with utmost care and ship fully insured.
