This pen has the original straight sided clip so is likely a few years later around 1959's. The PARKER 21 was discontinued in 1965's, probably because the Parker 45 was now a competitor. This Pen is fully functional! The nib is made of tipped steel. The pen measures 5 1/4" long capped. It is marked "Parker 21 Made in U.S.A." on the cap. There are one small crack on the barrel.
