Description: Parker Cutlery Company commemorative first launch April 12, 1981 of the Space Shuttle Columbia folding knife. Knife comes in original box. Serial number L999. Knife measures 3-5/16” closed. Blade length is 2-3/16” and etched with April 12-1981 Space Shuttle Columbia. Tang stamped with Parker Cut. Co and eagle logo. Opposite side of tang stamped with surgical steel and Japan. Knife has brass bolsters, pins and liners with mother of pearl handles. Decorative plaque of Space Shuttle Columbia in handle. Blade “snaps” into position with no movement. This knife is in excellent condition and has never been used or carried. Knife has been securely kept in private collection for many years.
