parts - rear handle for Union circular wood plane w/ 2 screws made by Stanley ?

Description: You are bidding on one rear handle for a Union compass or circular wood plane as pictured.It is not marked. Also included are the two mounting screws. Centerline to centerline spacing of those 2 screws is very close to 1-1/8".This came off of a wounded Union circular plane, where one of the tenon joints between one of the long arms and one of the geared shafts had failed. The plane was not marked with a model number anywhere. It strongly resembled a Stanley 113 plane, including the "C" marking on the underside of the lever cap, and may have been made during the time when Stanley owned Union. The lever cap is not part of this listing. Stanley rear handles are typically a hair over 1-1/8" spacing on the screws. Condition is fair to good, with very little japanning on the outside, and quite a bit of rust. The two screws turn easily. I am listing some of the other parts on other eBay listings. The Post Office now has several prices increases during each year, raising a few things but not everything at each increase. And they now raise their rates during the Holidays, which means early October to late January. Their big increases are in January, timed to start at the end of the Holiday rates, and this year is no exception. And it's not just the postage rates, the insurance charges and the delivery signature charges have also gone up. There is now a surcharge for Priority Mail packages over 20" long, and another for Priority Mail packages over 30" long, because those longer packages won't fit in their automatic machines. And the Post Office has discontinued the Regional Flat Rate boxes, which were often less expensive for certain sizes and weights. I try to pick the best shipping option for each listing, based both on what is the least expensive and on what I think is needed to protect the item.
