Description: Helpful Links Paul Louis Bolot "Landscape In Chardonnay France" Item Description ARTIST: Paul Louis Bolot (1918-2003) French TITLE: "Landscape In Chardonnay France" SIGNED: lower right MEDIUM: oil on canvas SIZE: 76cm x 67cm inc frame CONDITION: excellent - newly framed to the highest quality DETAIL: Born in Seignelay, Comte France, Bolot was a modernist painter in the true tradition whilst integrating forms of cubism and gemoetric abstraction into his paintings. Moving to Paris to paint in the 1930s he became a member of the avant garde Espace Group in thr 1950s which included artists such as Sonia Delanuay, Jean Prouve, the cubist Victor Vasarely and Fernand Leger. In the 1940's Bolot exhibited at the Salon D'Automne in Lyon and held numerous futher exhbiitions in both Paris and London galleries for the rest of his life. Internationally we generally ship UPS on a 5 day service. We ship worldwide apart from The Russian Federation and certain other countries where we cannot get parcel company coverage.
