Description: Vintage sterling silver "Exeter Cathedral" souvenir berry spoon by Paye & Baker Mfg. Co. Measures 4 7/8" in length x 2" in width. Weighs approx. 16.5 grams. Classical decoration on the handle and titled engraving of Exeter Cathedral in the bowl. Bottom of bowl is also marked "RMM&S" (I believe this is the maker's mark for RM Marples & Son, Oban Silversmith, London) along with a hallmark that has a lion passant, the letters "h f" and a leopard symbol. The underside of the spoon has the P & B maker's mark and "STERLING". In good estate condition with no breaks or repairs. Has light age-related surface wear and some faint tarnish in the bowl. Overall, shows a nice patina. Thanks and please let me know if you have any questions.
