Description: Penn State buttons issued locally by Central Bank....then Mellon Bank....then Citizens Bank. This is one of the early buttons issued by Central Bank. 1973 "Plaster Pitt" was issued prior to the 1973 Penn State - Pitt game. This is from only the second year of the football bank buttons. The 1973 buttons were a little bit darker shade of blue....and they were slightly small than the standard bank issues in later years. The button has a diameter of just over 2 inches. The front of the button shows some minor wear...but, it still displays well. The back has some discoloration. A truly tough pin to find. A nice addition to any PSU Nittany Lion collection.
