Description: This 1772 Pennsylvania note was engraved by James Smither and printed by Hall and Sellers on paper containing blue thread and mica flake. The front has the state arms and pillar style borders. The reverse features an attractive nature print and ornamental border design with “To Counterfeit is DEATH” at the top. Beautiful choice uncirculated note with nice margins, strong signatures, and high eye appeal. Well deserving of the PPQ designation from PCGS.
