On the farm, hickory bark is hand gathered and hauled by a team of Oxen from the woods. The bark is cooked over an open flame for eight hours to make an organic, flavorful syrup. Hickory Syrup has a warm smokey flavor that enhances many food choices. Like maple syrup, it is delicious on pancakes. Hickory Syrup can be used to glaze meats like ham and salmon.
