This is Ernie Davis’ Personally owned Dapper Dan Club of Pittsburgh Silver Platter Award given to Ernie on February 4, 1962, for his contribution to college football, coming from the personal collection of Ernie Davis. This is the actual award given to him. This was given to Ernie only a couple months before his tragic passing from Leukemia. This award measures about 10-1/2 inches in diameter, and is in very good condition, with some light overall wear noted, which is mentioned for accuracy. This item is made of Sterling Silver!
