Description: This is another beautiful lure showing little or no evidence of use, some minor age crack to paint, and 3 tiny tackle box scuffs to back and belly, see pics. The glass eyes are perfect. Box shows a bit of high edge scuff but remains solid and clean with all panels clearly legible. The end panel is marked "3 5/8", #3173 Rainbow" but according to the book this is a #3196 5T lure. I am not sure if my reasoning is correct but the box may not be original to this lure as the number on box does not correlate with the Pflueger book's description. Evidently, my dad thought this was the correct box as his tag indicated model #3173. Do not want to mislead anyone, you be the judge.
