Titles stamped in red to front and spine. Extremities bumped and rubbed with small puncture marks to lower rear corner. Front paper shows a chip to upper left corner, though photo is remarkably bright and clear with crisp titles. Cloth shows the occasional smudge, but remains free of any stains. Text block soiled to lower corner with faint soils/wrinkles to corresponding pages. Interior is quite clean overall, however, showing no writing, foxing, or tears. Pages and plates are bright, and binding sound with no splits. Sticker for Robertson Books (now Books Inc.) in San Francisco to rear pastedown. A handsome and sturdy volume overall, stated second printing issued in November, 1908, two months after the first.
