The fabric has a slight sheen, and the dense quilting gives it a little stretch (this is not polyester). The color is a "medium soft pink" (2nd photo shows color in natural light). The quilt is machine pieced and machine quilted. This is not a new/contemporary quilt, possibly ca. 1950's. Thin batting. The quilting is phenomenal in this quilt. The "small" quilted squares are approximately 1/2" in diameter. The quilt is densely quilted.The pink squares are quilted in one of three patterns: Small squares; triangles or an "X" pattern of small squares. Gorgeous pink and white sawtooth border on 3 sides. Condition: There are a few stains (and one small hole) which I have highlighted in the photos. There is some "pilling" where the batting has "pulled through to the front". A few small areas where the batting has separated. No odors. Photos are included as part of the item description and condition.
