Thanks Pine (Pinus spp.) is very prolific in my area of Wisconsin and a great pollen producer. Harvesting pollen is a fun activity, but a tough one to always catch. If you fail to harvest pollen before the spring winds start blowing, you are out of luck. I was fortunate this year to catch the pollen harvesting “day”, it was in the air and traveling the very next day. Pollen has been used by many cultures for hundreds of year for it’s dense nutritional profile (check out my Pine Pollen Vinegar for this use), but it has potent medicinal benefits as well. Pine Pollen tinctured can help raise testosterone levels in both men and women, as well as helping increase energy and boost libido. This particular tincture has been prepared with 80 proof Brandy and allowed to steep for 10 weeks. This is an alcohol tincture.Dosages vary depending on use and gender. Men (30 years and up) take 30-60 drops and Women take 15-30 drops. The tincture doses should be taken on an empty stomach, morning and evening. Hold the tincture in your mouth and allow it to be absorb through your mucus membranes for at long as you can or would like, this allows absorption directly into the blood stream bypassing the digestive tract.
