Description: Pioneer SA-6500 II Video demonstration is here. The Pioneer SA-6500 is a low distortion, high power, stereo integrated amplifier with wide dynamic range equalizer from the late 70s. It outputs 30 watts per channel at 8 ohms. Reviews and specifications are here, reviews are very positive. It is in good shape for its age. There is some spotting in the paint on the top and side of the cabinet, some small scratches here and there you can see in the photos, and one rather ugly scratch on the top. A quick cabinet repaint with a light sanding and a can of black spray paint, and it would look new. While not a high-end powerhouse monster that will push ten foot high speakers to painful levels, this is a very good sounding piece of vintage gear that would be perfect for someone wanting to build a vintage hifi system without spending the equivalent of a new car :) Please read all the information below and make sure you understand it before ordering with us. Shipping Our items are well-packed, with valuable items in NEW double wall ULINE boxes, with plenty of bubble pack and peanuts. We prefer to ship with the post office, offering Priority or Ground service. Modern automated postal handling machines are not kind to fine antiques and collectables, and despite our best efforts at diligent packaging we have had items destroyed, and a few have simply vanished. For this reason, we will not ship any item with a value greater than $25 without adding insurance. As eBay has no way to do this, the insurance is added as a handling fee of $1.70. Large, heavy items we ship UPS ground. As we live 15 minutes from the nearest UPS store, please be patient with us when purchasing a large, heavy item. Any of our items are available for pickup at our Pinckney, Michigan location. If you choose to pickup, either pay on eBay or bring cash, we do not take checks. If the item shows up damaged, destroyed, or doesn't show up at all, YOU need to work with us so we can submit the claim to ShipCover (eBay/USPS) or UPS. Take plenty of pictures, and don't throw away the box or packaging. eBay quotes the shipping cost using post office or UPS API's that return the rates. We don't know what you were quoted. Some international rates quoted by eBay are just crazy.. When you purchase the item, we buy the shipping from eBay, print the label, and drop it off to the post office or the UPS store. Please don't ask us to "reduce the shipping cost" - we can't. It is not under our control. Please don't counteroffer with "X amount including shipping" as we do not know what the shipping cost to your location is. Warranty Nothing we sell is new. These are used items. Everything is sold AS-IS unless explicitly stated otherwise. For electronic items, if they work, will add a video of it working.
