Description: Device purchased from a photographer clearing out their unused equipment, he was not sure if this was the Canon or Nikon version when I purchased this from him. To my dismay, this is a Canon model and the two are not interchangeable. I was hoping that the device would work as a simple manual mode trigger for my Nikon or Olympus but these are not compatible with other camera systems. I did confirm with a friend's Canon camera, and then the device firmware was updated. My loss is hopefully your gain, I'm just looking to recoup some of my cost.
