They are New In Boxes (NIB) and have never been used (except for testing). These early Raytheon 6V6GT / VT-107A tubes are great sounding tubes. VT-107A is the military designation for 6V6GT tubes, and was used in the World War 2 era. Tubes are tested on our military TV-7D/U mutual conductance (Gm) tube tester, which was recently restored and calibrated by Dan Nelson - the King of TV-7 series tube tester restoration and calibration. TV-7D/U test results (also refer to photos for measurements): Tube 1 Gm: 92 Tube 2 Gm: 92 * Minimum good for 6V6GT tubes on TV-7D/U is 46 (65% of NOS), so Below 46 = Low testing tubes 46 - 71 = Good tubes 71 and above = NOS tubes So these two tubes are very strong, way above the NOS level. Also, tubes are Platinum Matched, they have 100% matched mutual conductance. No shorts, no leakage, no gas, no cracks in base. Tubes will come with original Raytheon tube boxes (as shown in photos). Those tube boxes are not in good shape, they are brittle due to aging and start to crumble (but the tubes inside are intact and perfect).
