Description: This is a 1994 Pleasant Company American Girl Samantha Doll. She has the new darker wig with a wig band. I collected all seven of the different versions of the Christmas Dress and the various lace pattern yokes. This is the one Pleasant Company used for photography in the revised 1990s catalogs and pamphlets. The dress is a medium cranberry color. The dress colors also shifted from tomato red in 1987 to a really dark burgundy. I had her in my display cabinet next to the 1987 tomato red version. She comes in 1993 tagged white ribbed tights, bloomers, and meet shoes. She has a wide satin ribbon in her hair. Selling with her is a 1990s music box. This was revised in the early to mid 90s to a circle design on the front. The plastic works cover in still there. A 1990s Samantha's Christmas Story pamphlet is included. I am downsizing my personal collection and will be listing other dolls and outfits as I have time to photograph them.
