The book is published by Charles Daly, Granville Street, London. The book is undated but research indicates 1856. The books cover is brown leather boards with gold gilt borders and decorations. The cover has some light surface shelf ware, some light rubbing to the corners and some light rubbing to the top and bottom of the spine. Otherwise in good condition. The hinges, innerboards and endpapers are in good order. Light play to the front inner board which also has a owners name to it. With frontispiece of John Milton and with plates throughout the book ( see pictures). The plates are in good condition. Gold gilt finish to pages. The book has 450 pages.
