Description: Welcome to Antiques & Moore! This listing is for a very nice antique book, The Poetical Works of Lord Byron with memoir and original explanatory notes published in 1894. The book has a quality embossed leather cover, marbled interior pages with gilt edges. The book is the "Albion" edition published in London by Frederik Warne and Co. who also published in New York. The poetical works are printed in a two column format with 720 pages. Measures 7 1/2" long, 5 1/2" wide and about 1 3/4" high. Weighs 2 pounds. This lovely book is in very good to excellent Estate condition reflecting only minor signs of normal wear to the leather cover including faint wear at the corners and top of the spine. Wear is considered appropriate for the age of the book. The book does have a personal inscription on the inside page that reads "To my wife, Mary Louise Angus, July 22, 1901". The pages are clean and free of tears and creases although they do have consistent age coloration. If you have any specific concerns or any questions regarding this nice book, please email and I will respond. I am not a book dealer and am selling the book in "as found" Estate condition. This attractive book displays nicely! We at Antiques & Moore have been in the Antiques business for over 30 years and try to describe our items as accurately as possible.
