Description: another rare PC! It's the content of this letter that makes it noteworthy- no doubt referring to the use of LSD. It appears that the writer -Bob Morris (a leading spokesman for parapsychology according to WordPress) visited Alpert - most likely at the Millbrook Mansion where Timothy Leary lived & conducted his studies! He was likely given a ride to a local Metro-North train as the card was mailed from Grand Central Station. This is a historic piece of ephemera from the East Coast birthplace of American Counterculture. The card reads;"Dear Dick, Thanks so much for getting me a ride with Dave, I'd like over every Sunday for conversation that interesting. I didn't mention the black market for fear of discrediting you. Looking forward to seeing you 20 march, if you're there and not to busy.Sincerely, Bob Morris" Check our other auction for a 1917 PC from the brilliant Joel Springarn to poet Helen Hoyt.We will also be listing lots of less notable cards & ephemera from the Amenia & Wassaic area of the beautiful Hudson Valley
