Description: Antique (1923) forest green leather volume by Benjamin Franklyn Knaupp is in acceptable condition with separation of cover at spine, torn first page as shown, distress at top of spine from handling, and general aging and wear as expected in a century-old book. Volume is copiously illustrated with drawings and photographs and includes charming, detailed period diagrams of the skeletal and anatomical systems of domesticated fowl. Only marking I find is the 1925 pencil inscription on the fly leaf. Book was apparently gifted from the Ambler Grain Company.
