This is hard to find, rare-out of production DVD on one of the most brutal events of the American Revolution - the British Prison Ships which held American Colonial POWs. These ships were disease ridden hulks freezing in winter & stifling hot in summer - in between the prisoners were subjected to torture, malnutrition, disease, utter filth, and a host of insect & rodent vermin. The DVD chronicles the history and research of the British Prison Ships of the Revolutionary War and how they had a daily mortality rate as high as 80%. The DVD is titled "POWs OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION" by the HISTORY CHANNEL. The DVD has an approx. length of 66 minutes.
