Runs on a battery pack which is appears equivalent to 15 AAA batteries, which can be charged by pugging it into the wall. I pugged it into the wall and let it charge for a bit, and now when both buttons are pressed at once a signal strength screen comes up, so it seems like it works. The charging cable isn't included.
