President George Bush 2001 Proposed Official Inaugural Pattern Silver Medal Set

Description: Proposed design for the 2001 Official Inaugural Medal by The Highland Mint. The proposed design shows the rare dual portraits of both President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney on front and the Presidential Seal on reverse. While this design was not adopted for the Official medal, it still was offered in a limited production of a mere 500 serial numbered 3 piece sets (.999 silver , 24K Gold on .999 silver, and bronze). Each medal is 2 1/5" in size with all 3 medals serial number #306 on edge - the two silver medals have 8 combined ounces of .999 pure silver as well. The 3 medal set comes with its original COA as well (all as pictured). This rare 3 medal not adopted proposed matched medal set rarely shows up on ebay. It would be a prized addition to an advanced collection of Presidential Inaugural medals.
