You are looking at a great early Ives O gauge engine, perfect for pulling Ives freight or passenger! The 3253 Ives electric engine is a really nice early prewar piece that came in a few different variations--do you have them all? FEATURES Metal wheels and axles Light Ives-style latch coupler 1920s New York Central & Hudson River Orange window trim Version with numbers on the end The Ives Railway Lines Cast iron base Olive Green CONDITION: C-6-. Tested and runs well. Shows playwear such as paint chips and scratches, some faded text, oxidation. Some cosmetic parts such as pantograph, etc. may be modern repro. Looks like there may be two different shades of olive green on this one--perhaps early owner paint touch up--looks very old. Some surface rust on couplers and wheels. Both couplers are here.
