Description: This is a sterling (.925) silver Prima Sankyo headjoint in excellent condition. Has a brand new headjoint as of July 2024. Only minor signs of use, but no scratches. Tenon itself also shows very little wear, so this headjoint has not seen much use at all. Plays incredibly well with an especially resonant, lush low register. Projection is an ease, as this headjoint (likely an ST-2 model) is built to send waves of sound through to the audience. Intonation is spot-on throughout its range. Although there is a Sankyo logo, there is no model indication. From having played Sankyo flutes and headjoints for 15+ years, I am quite confident this is either an ST-1 or, more likely, an ST-2. There is one *tiny* pinpoint ding on the back side which I have tried to show in the last photo. It is indeed tiny and very hard to find, but it is there and I wanted to indicate this for full transparency.
