PRIMITIVE RARE HAND HOOKED WOOL FOLK ART SIGNED RUG FARM HOUSE LOLLIPOP TREES

Description: For sale, a wonderful newer Primitive Folk Art all hand hooked wool rug in excellent condition, never used on the floor rug. It was always used on a table top. A great old primitive original scene, it is signed in one corner with the rug makers initials in a mustard yellow color. The scene is fun, quirky, great Folk Art style. A large old farm house with two large lollipop styled trees on both sides of the house. Lot's of hearts, leaves, flowers etc.... The craftsmanship is wonderful, nice mitered corners on the back all finished with a beige cotton material, all hand stitched, see photos. The colors used are wonderful, deep eggplant purple, deep blues, mustard yellows, sage greens, light pinks and darker pinks. The rug is great for a farm table, wall hanging, it is 68 inches x 34 inches. I was going to have it mounted onto a wooded frame and hand over a couch like art work painting. Never did to that, just used it on my farm tables. I have placed it on the floor in front of a couch to show you the scale - size of this rug. (I never used it on the floor) Just displayed all these years. NEVER USED ON THE FLOOR! Placed it on my farm tables like a runner. I have taken photos of the back, all hand stitched, finished corners, great craftsmanship. It is in excellent condition. Great size to hang or use on table tops. These are getting harder and harder to find, love hand made items! I will be listing more vintage hand hooked primitive folk art rugs on ebay soon!
